Module:Add New Task.

Bug Type:GUI

Summary: Same task should not be assigned to a same user again.

Description: A task should not be assigned to same user more than once.

Pre-Condition:

1. Valid URL “172.16.0.7:81/btes” should be working
2. Valid Username and Password should exist.

Test Environment:Windows XP SP2 with IE, Mozilla Firefox, Safari,Google Chrome.

Steps-To-Reproduce:

1. Enter the URL of the application “172.16.0.7:81/btes”
2. Enter valid Username “Jasleen Kaur” and Password “Jasleen”.
3. Click on Login button.
4. Click on “Add New Task”.
5. Enter all details.
6. Click on save button.

Expected Result:A task should not be assigned to same user more than once.

Actual Result: A task is assigned to same user more than once.

Summary: Roles and responsibilities of every user and subordinates should be defined.

Description:A user should not have the authority to assign task to his own peer.

Pre-Condition:

1. Valid URL “172.16.0.7:81/btes” should be working
2. Valid Username and Password should exist.

Test Environment:Windows XP SP2 with IE, Mozilla Firefox, Safari,Google Chrome.

Steps-To-Reproduce:

1. Enter the URL of the application “172.16.0.7:81/btes”
2. Enter valid Username “Jasleen Kaur” and Password “Jasleen”.
3. Click on Login button.
4. Click on “Add New Task”.
5. Enter all details.
6. Click on save button.

Expected Result:A user should not have the authority to assign task to his own peer.

Actual Result: A user is assigning the task to his own peer.

Summary: There should be no redundancy of tasks.

Description:A particular task when reassigned to another user, must be removed from the profile of the first user.

Pre-Condition:

1. Valid URL “172.16.0.7:81/btes” should be working
2. Valid Username and Password should exist.

Test Environment:Windows XP SP2 with IE, Mozilla Firefox, Safari,Google Chrome.

Steps-To-Reproduce:

1. Enter the URL of the application “172.16.0.7:81/btes”
2. Enter valid Username “Jasleen Kaur” and Password “Jasleen”.
3. Click on Login button.
4. Click on “Add New Task”.
5. Enter all details.
6. Click on save button.

Description: User is able to set "Needed by" date before "Start date".

Pre-Condition:

Description: Appropriate message should be displayed after saving the details.

Summary:Sorting is performed on the basis of "Urgency"instead of "Type" link in "Assigned to" field.

Description: Sorting should be performed on "Type" link in "Assigned to" field but it is performed on the basis Urgency.

Pre-Condition:

1. Enter the URL of the application “172.16.0.7:81/btes”.
2. Enter valid Username and Password .

Description: User is able to edit the task assigned to him by senior.

Steps-To-Reproduce:

3. Click on Login button.
4. Click on "Assigned to" field and click on ID.
5. Enter on Edit Icon and edit the details and click on save button.

Expected Result: User should not be able to edit the task assigned to him by senior.

Summary: There is no deny option when we select "delete item

Description: There should be a “NO” option to cease the deleting process

5. Click on ID.
6. Click on Delete Item (Task).
